What we did
True Venetian plaster is a craft very few crews in Southern California still practice properly — multiple thin coats of plaster, each troweled and burnished by hand.
Here we paired hand-burnished Venetian plaster walls with new travertine flooring, carrying the finish through the hallway and into a powder bath with a deep red Venetian treatment, new sink, and lighting.
The surface shifts with the light through the day — something photographs never quite capture, and the reason every guest asks about it.
