These terms cover this website. They are not the contract for your project — that is the written agreement we both sign before work starts, and it governs the work itself.

What this site is
A description of the work Rodriguez General Contracting & Custom Painting Inc does, who we are, and where we do it, plus a form for requesting an estimate. Nothing on this site is an offer, a bid, a quote, or a binding price. A price from us is a written estimate produced after we have seen the job in person, signed by us.
License and bonding
We hold CA General Contractor Lic. #908488 and carry General Liability and Workers' Comp coverage. You are entitled to verify all of that independently, and you should — look up license #908488 at the California Contractors State License Board. Anyone quoting construction work in California above the statutory threshold must be licensed; ask any contractor you speak to for their number.
Estimates and project work
Submitting the form starts a conversation; it does not hire us and does not reserve a place in the schedule. Scope, price, payment schedule, change orders, warranty, and the mechanics-lien and cancellation notices California requires all live in the signed contract for your job. Where anything on this website appears to conflict with that signed contract, the contract wins.
Photographs and the portfolio
The photographs on this site are of our own completed projects, published with our clients' permission. Finishes photograph differently under different light, and materials, stone, and timber vary piece to piece, so treat the images as a record of craftsmanship rather than a color sample. For color, we bring physical samples and put test areas on your own walls.
Our content
The text, photographs, layout, and design of this site belong to Rodriguez General Contracting & Custom Painting Inc. You are welcome to link to any page, print pages for your own use, and quote a short passage with credit. Do not republish our photographs or copy pages wholesale onto another contractor's website.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit the form with someone else's details, or with a name and address that are not real.
- Do not use the form to send advertising, recruitment pitches, or SEO solicitations. Those are deleted unread.
- Do not scan, flood, scrape, or otherwise try to break the site or its server.
Third-party links
Some pages link off-site — our BBB profile, the state license lookup, a map. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and we do not control what they publish.
Accuracy
We keep this site current, but service lists, towns served, and project details change. Nothing here is warranted to be complete or free of error. Confirm anything you intend to rely on by calling us.
Limitation of liability
The website is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Rodriguez General Contracting & Custom Painting Inc is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising out of using the website, or out of relying on its contents rather than on a written estimate or signed contract. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including our obligations as a licensed California contractor to our clients.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes about the website belong in the state or federal courts serving San Diego County.
Changes
We may update these terms. The review date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
